His father, Bhupendra Jaiswal, ran a small hardware shop in Bhadohi. His mother, Kanchan Jaiswal, is a housewife. Yashasvi is the fourth of six siblings. He was interested in cricket since childhood. At the age of 11, Yashasvi went to Mumbai alone to fulfill his dream of playing for India, where he had to face difficult circumstances. But he learned cricket with his dedication and hard work and fulfilled his dream.

Yashasvi Jaiswal started his career in 2019 with Under-19 cricket. He performed brilliantly in the Under-19 World Cup and helped India win the title. He scored 555 runs in 14 matches at an average of 50.50 in this tournament.

Yashasvi Jaiswal made his IPL debut in 2020. He was bought by Rajasthan Royals for Rs 2.4 crore. He also performed well in the IPL, scoring 249 runs in 10 matches at an average of 24.90.
