Xavi Simons ( Xavier Quentin Shay Simons ) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain and the Netherlands national team.
Simons was born in Amsterdam, Netherlands, on 21 April 2003. He joined the youth academy of Barcelona at the age of 8, and quickly became one of the most highly rated prospects in the world. In 2019, he signed for Paris Saint-Germain for a reported fee of €10 million.
Simons made his professional debut for PSG in February 2021, and has since made over 20 appearances for the club. He has also won two Ligue 1 titles and a Coupe de France with PSG.
