The Lieutenant Governor has taken a big action on the Delhi coaching center accident in Old Rajendra Nagar. Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena on Sunday directed the divisional commissioner to submit a report on the coaching center incident. After this, the Lieutenant Governor said that this incident points to criminal negligence and lack of basic maintenance by the concerned agencies.
Saxena said that he is deeply saddened by the death of civil service candidates. In a post on the social media platform X, he said that it is extremely unfortunate and unacceptable that such a thing happened in the capital of India. The LG said that it is important to look into the role of coaching institutes in not ensuring the basic safety of students who pay huge fees and rent away from their homes. He said that such issues cannot be ignored. The Lieutenant Governor has asked the Divisional Commissioner to submit a report on every aspect of the tragic incident by Tuesday.

The Lieutenant Governor said that in the last few days, seven more citizens have lost their lives due to electric shock. My deepest condolences to the families of those who have lost their lives. Saxena said that the situation is being closely monitored. He said that these incidents clearly point to criminal negligence and failure of basic maintenance and management by the concerned departments.
