Kabaddi Legend Rakesh Kumar Returns to U Mumba as Head Coach

Mumbai, India – U Mumba, a leading franchise in the Pro Kabaddi League, announced the appointment of kabaddi legend Rakesh Kumar as their new head coach. A three-time Asian Games gold medalist and former Indian captain, Rakesh returns to U Mumba after a nine-year hiatus, bringing a wealth of experience and leadership to the team.

Rakesh, an Arjuna Awardee, is widely regarded as one of the greatest kabaddi players of all time. His impressive career has been marked by discipline, tactical excellence, and a winning mentality. As a player, Rakesh dominated the mat, and his leadership skills were instrumental in guiding his teams to victory.

Rakesh Kumar will be Head Coach to U Mumba Kabaddi Team

As U Mumba’s new head coach, Rakesh will be responsible for building a strong squad that can perform consistently at the highest level. His appointment marks a new era for the franchise, which is committed to excellence, defensive solidity, and a well-balanced raiding unit.
