The Uttar Pradesh Police has announced a massive recruitment drive for more than 32,000 vacancies across various posts, including Constable, Jail Warder, Special Security Force, Horse Rider, and more. The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has officially released the notification, and the online application process has commenced on the official website uppbpb.gov.in.
The recruitment comes after long-awaited anticipation from candidates, making this New Year announcement a moment of excitement. Online applications will be accepted until 30 January 2026.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed the 12th standard from a recognized board or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the government. Those currently appearing in the 12th exam are not eligible.
Age Limit
- General candidates: 18–22 years as of 1 July 2025
- Female candidates: 18–25 years as of 1 July 2025
- Age relaxation applies for UP domiciles and reserved categories (OBC, SC/ST) as per government rules.
Height Requirement
- General/OBC/SC Male: 168 cm
- ST Male: 160 cm
- Women: 152 cm
- ST Women: 147 cm
Selection Process
Candidates will undergo a Written Exam, Document Verification, Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and Medical Examination.
How to Apply
- Complete the One Time Registration (OTR) on uppbpb.gov.in.
- Enter your email ID and mobile number for registration.
- Upload documents via DigiLocker.
- Fill in personal details and create a password.
- Enter the captcha to complete registration.
- Re-apply using your registration number and password.
- Upload a real-time photograph (face clearly visible) and signature (black ink on white paper, JPG/JPEG format, 20–50KB).
- Select your post preference, pay the application fee, and print the final application.

- General/EWS/OBC: ₹500
- SC/ST: ₹400
