Extended Darshan Through Vaikuntha Dwara
The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has introduced an important update regarding the Vaikuntha Ekadashi festivities. According to TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu, devotees will be granted darshan through the sacred Vaikuntha Dwara for a period of 10 days starting from December 30. He stated that the decision aligns with the directives issued by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, emphasizing that special priority will be given to the general devotees.
Major Allocation for Common Devotees
Chairman Naidu revealed that out of the total 182 hours of darshan scheduled during the Vaikuntha Ekadashi period, 164 hours have been exclusively reserved for common devotees. This move is expected to offer significant convenience and spiritual satisfaction to thousands of pilgrims who visit Tirumala during this auspicious time.
Changes in Special Entry Darshan
Speaking after the TTD Governing Council meeting, Naidu announced that the Rs. 300 Special Entry Darshan and Srivani Darshan will be temporarily cancelled for the first three days of the festival. From January 2 to 8, however, TTD will release 15,000 Rs. 300 darshan tickets and 1,000 Srivani tickets each day under the regular quota system.
