Mumbai: Share price of Vodafone Idea fell over 5 per cent to a fresh 52-week low on Friday, extending losses from the previous session’s drop to below the Rs 10 mark. Shares of Vodafone Idea fell 5.68 per cent to a fresh 52-week low of Rs 9.79 per share on the NSE.
Vodafone Idea share price has fallen over 24 per cent in the last two days following the Supreme Court of India’s verdict in the adjusted gross revenue (AGR) case, dealing a major blow to the debt-laden telecom company.
Vodafone Idea shares were trading at Rs 9.97 per share on NSE, down 3.95 per cent.
Thursday’s fall was the biggest one-day drop for the stock since January 2022. Vodafone Idea’s current AGR dues are over Rs 70,300 crore, something the stock had not done since June this year. The stock has also nearly halved from its recent peak of Rs 19.18.
According to data available on BSE, Vodafone Idea had 48.63 lakh small shareholders as of June 30, which is a significant increase compared to the 36.18 lakh small shareholders the company had at the end of the March quarter.
