The Department of Public Administration of Post Graduate Government College, Sector 46, Chandigarh is organising “Vigilance Awareness Week” on the theme:  Say No to Corruption: Commit to the Nation. On the first day, Principal of the college, Dr. Abha Sudarshan administered a pledge against corruption and unethical practices in professional and personal life to students and staff of the college. A variety of events like lets shuffle, building block, rally and poster making will be organised in the upcoming week.  Principal Sudarshan said that it is very important to be responsible and aware as citizens of a fast-developing nation like India. She also highlighted the need of such awareness campaigns to combat corruption.  Dr. Abha Sudarshan congratulated the event Coordinator, Dr. Meenakshi Madaan for organizing the events successfully. Dr.Rajesh Kumar, Dean and Dr.Baljit Singh, Vice Principal also graced the occasion.
Earlier, the Department of Fine Arts of Post Graduate Government College, Sector-46, Chandigarh organised a workshop on Miniature Painting. Dr. Abha Sudarshan, principal of the college, was the chief guest. Dr. Sudarshan emphasized on the importance of such endeavours that augment the creative skills of the students thus unveiling their inherent talent. This workshop aimed to promote the preservation of the traditional art of miniature painting by inspiring the new generation of artists to embrace this magnificent art. Dr. O.P. Parmeshwaran, Head of the department and Dr. Mandeep, assistant professor mentored the students.
