Deadline Approaching for UGC NET December 2025 Registration
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued a final reminder urging candidates to complete their registration for the UGC NET December 2025 examination before the deadline. As per the official notification, the registration portal will close on November 7, 2025, at 11:50 PM. Candidates who have not yet applied can visit the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in to submit their applications.
Steps to Complete Registration
According to the NTA, candidates must complete three key steps to secure their registration:
- Fill out the online application form accurately.
- Pay the prescribed examination fee.
- Download and save the confirmation page for future reference.
Only candidates who have successfully paid the examination fee will be considered officially registered. Applicants are advised to carefully verify all details before submitting the payment, as corrections after submission will not be permitted.
Application Correction Window
The agency has announced a correction window from November 10 to 12, 2025, during which candidates can make necessary modifications in their application forms. This window allows applicants to rectify errors in personal details, exam choices, or other application fields.
UGC NET Exam Dates and Mode
The UGC NET December 2025 examination will be conducted in a computer-based mode (CBT) from December 31, 2025, to January 7, 2026 at multiple centers across India. Candidates will receive their exam city intimation slip approximately ten days before the exam, while the admit card release date will be announced separately on the official website.
Important Guidelines for Candidates
Earlier, NTA advised candidates to ensure that their Aadhaar details and Unique Disability ID (UDID) are accurately updated before filling out the form. This step is essential to avoid discrepancies during the verification process.
