TMKOC’s ‘Sonu’ Palak Sidhwani broke her silence after the makers sent her a legal notice

Palak Sindhwani On Tarak Mehta’s Owl Glass Maker: The show ‘Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ which has been entertaining the audience for a long time is once again surrounded by controversies. Palak Sidhwani, who made a special place in the hearts of the audience by playing the character of Sonu Bhide in this show, has announced to leave the show. Since then, many news are coming out about Palak. Neela Film Production, the production house, has confirmed in an official statement that they have sent a legal notice to Palak. On the other hand, Palak and her team issued a statement yesterday and accused the makers of mentally harassing her. Amidst all this, Palak told that now the makers are making it difficult for her to leave the show.

Palak accused the makers of TMKOC

Palak Sidhwani gave her interview to Times of India, in which she told that the makers have been harassing her a lot ever since she left the show. She told in the interview, ‘Last month, on August 8, I told the production house that I am leaving the show. After this, they said that I will be given an official email on which I can send the resignation letter, but this never happened. They delayed approving my resignation and after a few weeks I was surprised to see the news in the media that I had violated the contract.’

Everything started only after the announcement of leaving the show

Palak further said, ‘I had signed their contract 5 years ago and when I asked them for a copy of it, they flatly refused to give it. I got a copy on September 19, 2024. They had allowed me to continue brand endorsements and after the Corona epidemic, I also started brand endorsements on social media. They did not say anything then, but when I announced my decision to leave the show, they started this plan of action. I have also taken legal advice and will follow whatever is right for my career.’

Even after several meetings no solution was found

Palak said, ‘I wanted to leave the show for my health issues and my professional growth. I have had many meetings with the makers, but no solution has been found yet.’ This is exploitation and I never expected this after working with them for five years. Just because I want to leave Taarak Mehta, they are making it difficult for me to exit.’
