Panchayat Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar handed over appointment letters to 10 steno-typists

Chandigarh: Punjab Rural Development and Panchayat Minister S. Laljit Singh Bhullar today handed over appointment letters to 10 newly recruited steno-typists in the department.

Congratulating the newly recruited employees at his office in Punjab Civil Secretariat, the Cabinet Minister exhorted them to work with dedication and honesty in order to provide the benefits of government welfare schemes to the needy persons.

S. Laljit Singh Bhullar expressed confidence that the newly appointed staff would play a vital role in smooth implementation of the department’s initiatives and in creating awareness about the same.

The Cabinet Minister said that the government led by Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann is committed to providing maximum employment opportunities to the youth of the state. He said that so far more than 42,000 youth have been given government jobs by the Mann Government.

Department Director Mr. Amit Kumar, Chief Engineer Mr. Karandeep Singh Chahal and other officers were present on this occasion.

It is noteworthy that the recruitment of these employees has been done through Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board in a transparent manner and on the basis of pure merit.
