CS Shetty will be the chairman of SBI, will replace Dinesh Kumar Khara

New Delhi: The central government has appointed Challa Srinivasulu Shetty as the new chairman of State Bank of India (SBI). According to sources, CS Shetty may take charge after August 28. CS Shetty will replace Dinesh Kumar Khara. Shetty, who currently oversees international banking, global markets and technology at SBI, was selected by the FSIB, which interviewed three candidates for the post on June 29, 2024. If appointed, he will join SBI as its 27th chairman.
