BJP Gears Up for 2025 Bihar Assembly Polls with Strategic Announcements

In a significant political move ahead of the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has officially announced its first list of 71 candidates, signaling the beginning of its campaign efforts. This carefully curated list includes nine women candidates, reflecting the party’s emphasis on inclusive representation.

The list was made public during a press conference held in Patna, where senior party leaders shared details about the nominees. As a prominent member of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), the BJP is set to contest the elections in partnership with the Janata Dal (United) and other NDA allies.

As per the seat-sharing formula within the NDA framework, the BJP will field candidates in 101 constituencies across the state.
