On Saturday, December 27, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan celebrated his 60th birthday in style. Marking the special occasion, the actor unveiled the highly anticipated teaser of his upcoming film, Battle of Galwan, giving fans an early glimpse of the cinematic spectacle.
Teaser Highlights Salman’s Commanding Presence
The newly released teaser showcases Salman Khan as a poised and authoritative Indian Army officer. His performance radiates quiet intensity, reflecting the gravity of the role. Set against the backdrop of the 2020 Galwan Valley clash between Indian and Chinese troops, the film promises a gripping narrative of courage and resilience. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, who previously helmed the hit Shootout at Lokhandwala, the movie already has audiences eager for its release. Film Details and Release Date
Battle of Galwan is slated for a theatrical release on April 17, 2026. Produced by Salma Khan under the Salman Khan Films banner, the project also features talented actress Chitrangada Singh in a key role alongside Salman.
Salman Opens Up About Physical Challenges of the Film
In a conversation with PTI, Salman Khan revealed that Battle of Galwan is among the most physically demanding films of his career. He explained, “It is physically demanding. Every year, every month, every day it gets more and more difficult. I’ve to give more time now for training. Earlier, I would do it in one or two weeks, now I’m running, kicking, punching, and all that stuff. This film demands that.”
Salman further elaborated on the challenges of shooting in extreme conditions, saying, “For instance, in Sikandar the action was different, the character was different. But this is physically difficult. Besides, shooting in Ladakh, at high altitudes and in cold water, is another challenge.”
Salman’s Recent Work
Prior to this, Salman was seen in Sikandar, released in March, directed by A R Murugadoss. The film also starred Rashmika Mandanna in a pivotal role, showcasing Salman’s continued versatility as an action hero.
