Ayodhya Ram Mandir Inauguration 2024

Ayodhya Temple is a Hindu temple located in the city of Ayodhya in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. This temple is dedicated to Lord Rama, who is an incarnation of Lord Vishnu in Hinduism. Construction of the temple began on 5 August 2020 and was inaugurated on 22 January 2024.

Construction of Shri Ram Mandir Temple

The temple is constructed with red stones. This temple is 100 feet high and 161 feet wide. The temple has a grand sanctum sanctorum, in which the idol of Lord Rama is installed. There is a huge spire above the sanctum sanctorum of the temple, which is 33 feet high.

The temple was designed by the famous architect Chandrakant Sompura. Sompura has designed the temple in such a way that it encompasses the traditions of Hindu architecture.

Inauguration of the Temple

The temple was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 22 January 2024. Many dignitaries of the country participated in this ceremony. Lakhs of devotees from across the country also participated in the ceremony.

The inauguration of the temple is considered a historic moment for Hindus. This temple will become a center of faith for Hindus.

New Railway Station and Airport

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi inagurated new Railway station and a new Airport named after Maharishi Balmiki (who created Ramayan Granth). There were 8 new trains including 6 Vande Bharat were also inagurated by our Prime Minister. The city has been given a new look and the pavements have gone through refurbishment.
