The SSC GD Constable exam for recruitment in various paramilitary forces including Border Security Force (BSF), Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Assam Rifles (AR), Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), and Special Security Force (SSF) was conducted successfully this year.
Previous Stages of the Recruitment
The Commission had earlier announced the Computer Based Test (CBT) results on July 17, 2025. A total of 394,121 candidates were shortlisted for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST), comprising 40,213 female and 353,908 male candidates.
From August 20 to September 15, 2025, the CAPFs conducted the PET/PST across multiple centers nationwide.
Key Highlights of SSC GD Result 2025
- 3.94 lakh candidates were shortlisted for the PET/PST stage.
- Approximately 1.34 lakh candidates did not appear for the physical tests.
- Among the 2.59 lakh candidates who appeared, about 1.2 lakh candidates have qualified for the Detailed Medical Examination and Document Verification round.
- 45 candidates have been temporarily declared medically unfit.

What’s Next? Detailed Medical Examination and Document Verification
Candidates who have qualified will now be called for the Detailed Medical Examination (DME) and Document Verification (DV). The SSC will soon release the schedule for these upcoming stages. The final merit list will be prepared based on cumulative performance across all recruitment phases.
