Popular Punjabi singer and actor Rajvir Jawanda passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, in Chandigarh, succumbing to injuries sustained in a serious road accident. The 35-year-old artist had been on life support for nearly 11 days before being declared dead at 10:55 a.m. by authorities at Fortis Hospital, Mohali.

The unfortunate incident occurred on September 27, when Jawanda was traveling by motorcycle through Solan district in Himachal Pradesh, en route to Shimla. During the accident, he suffered severe head and spinal injuries, along with a cardiac arrest, which further worsened his critical condition.
