Radical Left Spreading Terrorism in America, Also Killed Charlie Kirk: Donald Trump
Charlie Kirk’s Assassination Shocks the Nation
31-year-old Charlie Kirk, co-founder of the conservative youth organization Turning Point USA and a close ally of former President Donald Trump, was shot dead while addressing an event at Utah Valley University on Wednesday. The tragic incident, caught on video, shows Kirk collapsing from his chair as chaos erupted among the audience.
Trump: “A Dark Day for America”
Reacting to the killing, Donald Trump released a video message on his social media platform, Truth Social, calling it a “dark day for America.” He labeled Kirk a “true martyr” and directly blamed the rhetoric of radical leftists for fueling political violence. “For years, the radical left has compared great Americans like Charlie to Nazis and criminals. This hateful rhetoric has bred terrorism in America and it must stop now,” Trump said.
Promise of Justice
Calling the murder “outrageous and horrifying,” Trump vowed strict punishment for those involved. “I will ensure that every person and organization involved in this heinous crime and other acts of political violence is found and held accountable,” he stated. He urged citizens to protect freedom of expression, civil liberties, and the rule of law—values that Kirk, according to Trump, lived and died for.
Investigation Underway
Authorities believe the shot was fired from the roof of the campus by an attacker dressed in black. Although Kirk was rushed to the hospital, he could not be saved. The suspect remains at large. Utah’s Department of Public Safety has confirmed that no arrests have been made so far. The FBI and local police are conducting a joint investigation.
