Dikshant Group of Schools and ALPHA Sports Management Launch Cutting-edge Multi-Sports Academy in Tricity
Chandigarh, August 1, 2025: In a groundbreaking initiative for Tricity’s sporting landscape, Dikshant Group of Schools has partnered with Alpha Sports Management to unveil a state-of-the-art, high-performance multi-sports academy at Dikshant International School, Dera Bassi. This collaboration brings together the vision of Mitul Dikshit, Chairman of Dikshant Group of Schools, and Sumit Prakash, Founder-Director of Alpha Sports Management—both esteemed alumni of Scindia School, Gwalior.
The academy, announced today at the Press Club, promises world-class training programs across a spectrum of sports, including cricket, football, tennis, shooting, archery, swimming, and basketball. The facility aims to nurture the region’s immense sporting potential through holistic development, paving clear pathways to success at national and international levels.

Alpha Sports Management, headquartered in Patna and with operations spanning India, Canada, Sri Lanka, and Nepal, is renowned for its dynamic approach to grassroots sports development. Their current partnerships include working with Delhi Capitals for cricket, Bengaluru FC for football—offering full scholarships to outstanding players through its Bellary centre—and India Khelo Football, which sponsors players for European football tours. Further, associations with the DRB Foundation for archery, led by Olympians Dola and Rahul Banerjee, and Olympian Prakash Nanjappa for shooting, provide athletes with expert mentorship and training.
A testament to Alpha Sports’ commitment to excellence and inclusivity, the academy’s female athletes have also been selected for Women’s Premier League (WPL) camps under the guidance of Delhi Capitals.
