When Congress comes to power, shops in the auto market will be registered- Punia

Posted on August 10, 2024 By NewsTodayLive Team

Fatehabad: Congress National Secretary Dr. Vineet Punia met shopkeepers and traders in the city’s Auto Market on Saturday. Shopkeepers, traders and businessmen warmly welcomed the Congress National Secretary on his arrival at the Auto Market in a refreshment function organized by Ruli Ram Kashniya. During the meeting, Dr. Vineet Punia assured the shopkeepers, traders and businessmen of the Auto Market to solve their problems when the Congress government comes to power.

The people who had gathered on the occasion created an atmosphere of a street meeting. Addressing this, Dr. Vineet Punia said that the Congress governments have always worked for the interests of the traders and the working class along with other sections of the society. But the BJP government has caused a great blow to the traders and the working class through demonetization and GST. Even after years, the traders and the workers have not been able to recover from this blow. At the same time, the officials in the state are leaving no stone unturned to harass the traders. The business of demanding extortion money from the traders is also going on in full swing in the state. It seems that the BJP government has surrendered before the criminals. People are remembering the golden era of the Congress rule.

Dr. Vineet Punia said that like the entire state, the traders and workers of Fatehabad district are also fed up and troubled by this government. The traders and workers of the district have many demands, which the BJP government has not been able to resolve in the last ten years. The sewerage system in the auto market is bad, there are potholes on the roads. Lakhs of rupees were released, but till date roads, footpaths have not been built in the market and arrangements for lights have not been made.

Dr Punia promised that within six months of the coming of the Congress government, arrangements will be made for the registration of the shops of the auto market which have been bought in the auction. The shops which have not been sold yet will be auctioned. Along with this, other problems including street lights, broken roads, sewerage etc. will be resolved in the auto market.

During this time, many dignitaries including Pappu Nehra, Rajendra Dhaka, Govind Chhabra, Jaiveer Painter, Subhash Bodymaker, Baljeet Bodymaker, Lunaram Soni, Balwan Misri, Subhash Jakhal, Baljeet Garhwal, Surendra Garhwal Seatmaker were present.
