The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially published the provisional answer key for the UGC NET December 2025 examination. Along with the answer key, candidates can also access their recorded responses and the question papers through the official portal at ugcnet.nta.ac.in. This release allows aspirants to evaluate their performance before the declaration of final results.
Objection Window Open for Answer Key Challenges
NTA has enabled an online challenge facility for candidates who are not satisfied with any question or answer mentioned in the provisional key. Aspirants can submit objections until January 17, 2026. Each challenge requires the payment of a non-refundable fee of ₹200 per question. Objections submitted after the deadline will not be accepted under any circumstances.
Review Process and Final Answer Key
All objections received within the stipulated time frame will be examined thoroughly by subject matter experts appointed by NTA. If any challenge is found to be valid, appropriate revisions will be made in the answer key. The updated and final answer key will be used to prepare the UGC NET December 2025 results, which will be announced only after the completion of the review process.
