Introduction to TVS RTX 300
TVS, the renowned Indian two-wheeler manufacturer, is preparing to introduce its latest motorcycle, the RTX 300, in the Indian market. The highly anticipated launch is scheduled for 15th October 2025. Making its debut at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, the TVS Apache RTX 300 marks the brand’s entry into the adventure-tourer segment, expanding their lineup beyond conventional motorcycles.
Design and Aesthetic Features
Distinctive Styling and Build
TVS officially filed the design patent for the RTX 300 in March 2025. Since then, the test mule has been spotted multiple times, offering enthusiasts a glimpse of the bike’s design and build. The Apache RTX 300 sports an aggressive and muscular appearance highlighted by twin LED headlamps and LED turn indicators upfront. A prominent fuel tank adds to its robust stance, while a transparent windshield enhances rider protection.
Rear Profile and Practical Elements
At the rear, the RTX 300 features a split-pillion grab rail integrated with a luggage rack, catering to touring needs. The upswept exhaust complements the sporty yet functional design of this adventure-tourer, blending aesthetics with practicality.
Mechanical Specifications and Chassis
Frame and Suspension
Though TVS has yet to reveal full technical details, spy shots and the showcased model at the expo confirm that the RTX 300 rides on a trellis frame. It will come equipped with a fully adjustable upside-down front fork and a monoshock suspension at the rear, designed to handle diverse road conditions typical of adventure riding.
Wheel Configuration
The motorcycle is expected to feature a 19-inch front wheel paired with a 17-inch rear wheel, optimizing stability and control during off-road and on-road rides alike.
Powertrain and Performance
Engine Platform
Building on TVS’s RT-XD4 engine platform, first revealed at the 2025 MotoSoul event, the Apache RTX 300 will be powered by a 300cc liquid-cooled engine. This advanced engine is engineered to deliver a peak power output of approximately 35 horsepower and a torque figure of 28.5 Nm, promising a balanced blend of power and efficiency for adventure enthusiasts.
