A Sudden Change in Plans
Excitement quickly turned to frustration for fans eagerly waiting for the trailer of They Call Him OG, starring Pawan Kalyan and Emraan Hashmi. The trailer, originally slated for release at 10:08 AM today, was unexpectedly postponed by the makers. Instead, they announced that it will now be unveiled later in the day during the grand OG Concert, a dedicated pre-release event.
The Official Update from DVV Entertainment
The production house, DVV Entertainment, took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to deliver the update. Accompanied by an 11-second teaser clip, the post read:
“Ok Ok. Music start in replies and quotes… . OG Trailer will be released today at the OG Concert event.”
This abrupt change in schedule, especially with the movie just days away from release, has left fans visibly irritated. Many voiced their dissatisfaction online, accusing the team of unnecessarily hyping the event only to delay the trailer drop.
What Is the OG Concert?
Set to take place at the iconic Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium in Hyderabad, the OG Concert is scheduled for Sunday, from 4:00 PM to 10:30 PM. Unlike other promotional events, this concert will be an exclusive affair featuring only Pawan Kalyan and the film’s core team—no special celebrity guests are expected.
To amplify the anticipation, the makers teased:
“Imagine 40,000+ chanting OG OG OG at LB STADIUM…”
Despite Delay, Buzz Grows Stronger
While the delay sparked initial backlash, the event continues to dominate social media trends. Hashtags like #OGTrailer and #OGConcert are gaining traction rapidly as audiences speculate about how director Sujeeth will portray Pawan Kalyan in this intense, larger-than-life action drama.
Anticipated Chaos in Hyderabad: Traffic Advisory
With thousands expected to descend upon central Hyderabad for the concert, the city’s traffic authorities are taking precautionary measures. The Hyderabad Traffic Police issued a detailed advisory to help manage the flow of vehicles around the venue:
