The Board of School Education, Haryana (BSEH) has officially announced the HTET Result 2025, revealing that only 14.14% of candidates across all three levels successfully qualified in the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET). Candidates can check their results and the biometric verification list on the official website at bseh.org.in.
Biometric Verification Conducted Before Result Declaration
Before releasing the results, BSEH had published the HTET 2025 biometric verification list. This list contained the names of candidates required to undergo biometric and IRIS verification to ensure the authenticity of their credentials.
The biometric list, available in PDF format on the official website, included:
- Registration number
- Roll number
- Candidate’s name
- Father’s and mother’s names
- Level of exam (PRT, TGT, or PGT)
Candidates listed were instructed to appear for verification at designated centres on August 25 and 26, 2025. The final HTET results were released only after successful verification of candidates’ biometric and IRIS data.
HTET Exam Levels
The HTET is conducted for three levels based on the classes that candidates intend to teach:
- Level 1 (PRT): For teaching Classes 1 to 5
- Level 2 (TGT): For teaching Classes 6 to 8
- Level 3 (PGT): For teaching Classes 9 to 12
Qualifying Marks for HTET 2025
The qualifying criteria for HTET 2025 vary based on category:
- General / SC / Differently-abled (Other States): 60% marks (90 out of 150)
- SC and Differently-abled Candidates of Haryana: 55% marks (82 out of 150)
Candidates who meet these marks in their respective categories are considered eligible for teacher appointments in Haryana schools.
Important Instructions for Qualified Candidates
The board has advised all qualified candidates to download and retain their scorecards. These scorecards will be essential for future recruitment processes and verification purposes.
