According to his manager Yadvinder Singh, Ghuman had been experiencing shoulder discomfort and sought medical care at a private hospital in Amritsar. His nephew, Amanjot Singh Ghuman, later confirmed to reporters in Jalandhar that the actor succumbed to a heart attack while undergoing treatment at the hospital.
