The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has officially released the Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2025 results. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now access their scorecards online. The board has confirmed that the scorecards will soon be available for download from the official website bsebstet.com. Earlier, BSEB Chairman Anand Kishore had announced that the results would be published on January 5, 2026.

Bihar STET 2025 Qualifying Marks
Candidates must meet the minimum qualifying marks according to their category to pass the STET 2025 exam:
- General Category: 50%
- Backward Classes (BC): 45.5%
- Economically Weaker Section (EWS): 42.5%
- Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Disability, and Women: 40%
Exam Overview
The STET 2025 exam consisted of multiple-choice questions, and there was no negative marking. Candidates who qualify will receive a lifetime-valid passing certificate.
The examination is divided into two papers:
- Paper 1: For recruitment of teachers in Classes 9 and 10
- Paper 2: For recruitment of teachers in Classes 11 and 12
Educational Qualifications Required
For Secondary Level Teachers
- B.Ed. degree along with a graduate or postgraduate degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks
- Candidates with BA-BEd or BSc-BEd degrees are also eligible
For Senior Secondary (Higher Secondary) Teachers
- Postgraduate degree in the concerned subject with minimum 50% marks
- B.Ed. qualification is mandatory
