Actor Sachin Chandwade Dies at 25

A Tragic Loss for the Entertainment Industry

The entertainment world is mourning the untimely loss of actor Sachin Chandwade, best known for his appearance in Jamtara: Season 2. At just 25 years old, his sudden demise has left fans and colleagues heartbroken.

Found Dead at His Jalgaon Residence

According to reports from the Maharashtra Times, Sachin Chandwade was discovered hanging at his home in Jalgaon on October 23, 2025. His family found him and immediately rushed him to a nearby hospital. Despite all efforts, doctors were unable to revive him. Later, he was shifted to a hospital in Dhule as his condition worsened but sadly passed away around 1:30 a.m. on October 24.

Balancing an IT Career with Acting Ambitions

Sachin’s journey reflected passion, persistence, and dedication. Born and raised in Parola, Jalgaon, he worked as a software engineer at Pune IT Park while actively pursuing his dream of acting. From a young age, he had a deep interest in performing arts, often juggling between his demanding IT job and acting commitments. His breakthrough came with Jamtara: Season 2, a role that brought him widespread recognition and set the stage for a promising career in entertainment.

Preparing for His Upcoming Film ‘Asurvan’

Just days before his passing, Sachin shared the motion poster of his upcoming Marathi film Asurvan, directed by Sachin Ramchandra Ambat. The film also stars Pooja Moily and Anuj Thakare, and was expected to release later this year. He played a significant role in the project and had expressed immense excitement about its release through his social media posts.

A Talented Artist Beyond the Screen

Although Sachin wasn’t very active online, his social media offered glimpses into his life and passion. One of his earlier posts from September 2022 showcased behind-the-scenes moments from Jamtara 2. Apart from acting, he was also a part of a Dhol Tasha squad, often participating in cultural celebrations like Ganeshotsav and Gudi Padwa, where he performed enthusiastically alongside other Marathi artists.
