After announcing the prices of the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder Hybrid (Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyrider Hybrid) version, now the company has announced the prices for its entire range, which also includes the non-hybrid versions of the Hyrider. The ex-showroom prices of the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder SUV start at Rs 10.49 lakh, which is almost the same as the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, which starts at Rs 10.45 lakh.

Engine & Power Details
The 2022 Toyota Urbain Cruiser Hyryder will be equipped with a self-charging strong hybrid electric powertrain. With this, the company’s global self-charging technology has entered the mass market segment in India. Another powertrain option available on the Urabn Cruiser Hyryder is the Neo Drive.

The petrol version of the new Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyrider gets a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder engine sourced from Maruti Suzuki. This engine generates 100 bhp power and 135 Nm torque. There is a choice of manual and automatic gearbox with this engine.

The hybrid variant of the 2022 Urban Cruiser Hyrider will be powered by the company’s own 1.5-litre hybrid engine. This engine generates 91 bhp power and 122 Nm torque with the help of 177 volt lithium-ion battery pack. The hybrid Hyryder variant gets the eCVT gearbox as standard.

Mileage

According to Toyota’s claims, the Hyryder Hybrid gets a mileage of 27.9 kmpl. Which makes it one of the most fuel-efficient SUVs in India.

Interior & Features
The Toyota Hyryder gets dual-tone interiors with leather wrapped dashboard. It is equipped with features like automatic climate control, touchscreen infotainment system, 360-degree camera, panoramic sunroof, wireless charger, digital instrument cluster and head-up display with connected car tech. Safety features offered on the Hyryder include 6 airbags, tire pressure monitoring system, ESP, hill-hold assist and hill descent control.

Warranty
The carmaker is offering 3 years or 1,00,000 km standard warranty on the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder SUV and 8 years or 1,60,000 km battery warranty on the hybrid version.

Competition & Comparison
The new Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyrider will compete with cars like Hyundai Creta (Hyundai Creta), Kia Seltos (Kia Seltos), Skoda Kushaq (Skoda Kushaq) and Volkswagen Taigun (Volkswagen Taigun) in the mid-size SUV space. Maruti Suzuki’s recently launched new Vitara (Vitara) SUV is also in competition with Toyota Hyrider.
