TVS Motor Company (TVS Motor Company) is all set to launch its latest offering TVS Ronin in the Indian market. Along with this, the prices and specifications of TVS Ronin 225cc (TVS Ronin 225cc) bike with neo-classic style was revealed. Ahead of its official debut, the first pictures of the model were recently leaked on the internet. Official specifications of the new TVS bike are yet to be revealed. However, according to reports, the bike could come with a 225cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine with power output closer to 20bhp. It will get a 5-speed gearbox.
The TVS Ronin 225cc bike has a round headlamp with T-shape LED daytime running lights. It gets a teardrop shaped fuel tank, a high handlebar and a flat seat, which will give an upright riding position. According to the leaked pictures, a single-pod instrument console has also been given in it. To perform the suspension duties, the bike will feature upside-down forks up front and monoshock suspension at the rear. Front and rear disc brakes will be available for braking. It will also get dual-channel ABS (Anti-lock Braking System).
In other updates, TVS Motor Company and BMW Motorrad aim to expand their long-standing partnership with joint development of new platforms and futuristic technologies, including electric two-wheelers. Both the companies will develop a common platform and models based on this architecture will be sold in global markets.
The first product under this joint venture will come out in the next 24 months. Chennai-based two-wheeler maker TVS may introduce its electric model under a separate sub-brand. If reports are to be believed, TVS is working on 6 new electric two-wheelers for the Indian market. Which includes both bike and scooter.
TVS recently introduced an updated version of the Radeon motorcycle which gets a reverse multi-colour LCD digital cluster. In this, many information like top and average speed, rear time mileage, service indicator, clock and low battery indicator are available.
