Chandigarh, February 25, 2026: Nissan Motor India Private Limited has officially launched the all-new Gravite at a competitive starting price of ₹5.65 lakh (ex-showroom), marking the commencement of its ambitious ‘Bold India Resurgence’ campaign. The launch event was graced by noted entrepreneur M.K. Bhatia, who attended as the Chief Guest.

Positioned in the 7-seater MPV segment, the Gravite has been developed under the company’s “Made in India, Made for India” philosophy. The launch signals Nissan’s renewed focus on expanding its footprint in one of its most strategic global markets.
Speaking at the unveiling, Divisional Vice President & President Thierry Sabbagh emphasized that India continues to play a central role in Nissan’s global ambitions. He described the Gravite as the beginning of a new phase of sustainable growth for the automaker in the country. Managing Director Saurabh Vatsa noted that the vehicle has been designed to meet the evolving needs and aspirations of Indian families, combining practicality, comfort, and modern features.

The Gravite offers flexible seating configurations ranging from 2 to 7 occupants, catering to diverse usage requirements. It provides up to 625 litres of boot space, complemented by a premium modular interior designed for enhanced comfort and convenience.
Advanced Safety and Technology Features
On the safety front, the MPV is equipped with over 30 standard features, including six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Traction Control System (TCS), and Hill Start Assist. Technology highlights include wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital instrument cluster, and wireless charging.
Performance and Efficiency
The Gravite is powered by a 1.0-litre petrol engine delivering fuel efficiency of up to 19.6 km/l, balancing performance with economy for urban and family-oriented driving needs. Manufactured locally at Nissan’s Chennai facility, the model underscores the company’s long-term commitment to the Indian market. Bookings for the all-new Gravite are now open across Nissan dealerships nationwide.
