Reports suggest that Ranveer chose to step away from the project following the blockbuster success of Dhurandhar. This unexpected move has led the makers of Don 3 to reconsider the film’s schedule, resulting in a postponement.

A source cited by Pinkvilla revealed, “Right after the release of Dhurandhar, Ranveer was scheduled to start preparations for Don 3. However, considering the current scenario, the film’s release has now been pushed.”

It is important to note that neither Ranveer Singh nor the team behind Don 3 have officially commented on his exit or the delay in Farhan Akhtar’s directorial.

According to Pinkvilla, Ranveer Singh’s career priorities appear to have shifted after the overwhelming success of Dhurandhar. A source explained, “He is keen on collaborating with filmmakers like Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Lokesh Kanagaraj, and Atlee. At the same time, he wants to avoid consecutive gangster films, especially after Dhurandhar has already cemented his place in that genre.”

Recent reports, however, indicate that she may have exited the project, with Kriti Sanon rumored to replace her. No official confirmation regarding the lead actress has been made yet.

Regarding the antagonist, sources claim that actors Vikrant Massey and Vijay Deverakonda were approached but declined due to the character lacking depth. The final casting for the villain role remains unconfirmed.
