JSW MG Motor India unveiled the All-New MG Hector on Monday, refreshing its flagship SUV with updated styling, enhanced interiors, and advanced technology features. The SUV is priced from Rs 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and is available in multiple seating configurations to cater to diverse customer needs.
Modern Exterior Design
The updated Hector showcases a bold new exterior with redesigned front and rear bumpers and a signature Aura Hex Grille. It also features stylish new alloy wheels and introduces two fresh color options — Celadon Blue and Pearl White. According to MG, these exterior enhancements provide the Hector with a more muscular and contemporary road presence.
Revamped Interiors and Flexible Seating
Inside, the All-New Hector offers refreshed dual-tone interior themes. The 5-seater variant comes with a Dual Tone Ice Grey layout, while the 6- and 7-seater models feature a Dual Tone Urban Tan finish. Enhancements include ventilated front seats, a power-adjustable driver seat, adjustable steering, upgraded upholstery, and redesigned dashboard and center console trims, ensuring a more premium cabin experience.
Advanced Infotainment and Digital Features
The Hector continues to sport a 14-inch portrait-style touchscreen infotainment system, now boosted with faster processing through Smart Boost technology. A new i-SWIPE touch gesture control allows users to manage air-conditioning, music, and navigation with multi-finger gestures. Additional digital features include a Bluetooth key with key-sharing functionality, predictive maintenance alerts, remote AC control, and a fully digital instrument cluster.
Enhanced Safety and Driver Assistance
Safety remains a priority in the All-New Hector. It comes equipped with a 360-degree HD camera featuring wheel view for easier parking and manoeuvring. Standard safety technologies include ABS, EBD, electronic stability program (ESP), traction control system (TCS), hill-hold control, and brake assist. Select variants also offer advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) for added driving confidence.
Engine and Performance
The updated Hector is powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine that produces 143 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque. Buyers can choose between a manual and CVT gearbox, ensuring smooth performance and versatility on different terrains.

MG offers the “MG Shield” ownership programme with the All-New Hector. The standard package includes three years of warranty with unlimited kilometres, three years of roadside assistance, and three labour-free services. Customers can also opt to extend warranty and maintenance coverage for added peace of mind.
