Flood Relief 4 Trucks of Essential Items sent to Punjab
A Helping Hand in Times of Need
The Indian Golf Premier League (IGPL) and GB Legends have joined forces to launch a comprehensive relief and rehabilitation initiative for citizens affected by the devastating floods in Punjab. The initiative was flagged off by Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria, who dispatched four trucks carrying essential relief supplies worth over Rs 10 lakh to the worst-hit areas.

Essential Supplies for Flood Victims
The relief consignment includes a range of essential items, such as:
- Portable Beds and Mattresses: 100 portable iron-frame beds and 650 mattresses with covers to provide comfort and shelter to displaced families
- Food and Ration: 500 ration bags to ensure food security for affected families
- Animal Fodder: 1,000 bags of animal fodder (30 kg each) to support livestock
- Sanitary and Medical Supplies: Sanitary pads, medical kits, mosquito nets, and repellents to maintain hygiene and prevent water-borne diseases
Leadership and Support
A 10-member contingent of IGPL and GB Legends leadership, including renowned international professional golfer Gaganjit Bhullar, is overseeing the effort. Bhullar emphasized that the initiative is not just about relief but about standing by the people of Punjab in their toughest times. Over 50 dedicated volunteers will ensure smooth delivery and distribution of these supplies.

Gaganjeet Bhullar said, “This is not just about relief, but about standing by the people of Punjab in their toughest times. Our collective efforts, supported by volunteers and well-wishers, aim to bring immediate comfort to families and safeguard their livelihoods.” Col Harpreet Singh Mann, Captain of GB Legends, added that the essential items have been mobilized based on urgent needs identified by on-ground partners and volunteers.
