
BJP Celebrates 11 Years of NDA Government: Anurag Singh Thakur Highlights Achievements
Chandigarh, June 10, 2025 – The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) celebrated the completion of 11 years of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. On this occasion, Anurag Singh Thakur, Member of Parliament from Hamirpur and former Union Minister, addressed a press conference at the BJP’s Chandigarh state office, Kamalam.
Key Highlights of the Press Conference
During the press conference, Thakur highlighted the significant achievements of the Modi government over the past 11 years. He emphasized that the government’s focus on service, good governance, and welfare of the poor has led to unprecedented progress in the country. Thakur mentioned that under Modi’s leadership, India has emerged as a rising global power, and the country’s borders are secure.
Achievements of the Modi Government
Thakur listed several key achievements of the Modi government, including:
- Medical Education: The number of medical colleges has doubled, from 387 in 2014 to 780 in 2025, and MBBS seats have increased from 51,348 to 1.18 lakh.
- Employment: 17.1 crore new jobs have been created, and 1.61 lakh youth have been employed through startups.
- Skill Development: 2.27 crore youth have been trained under the Skill India Mission.
- Welfare Schemes: Several welfare schemes have been launched, including the Swachh Bharat Mission, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, and Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana.
BJP’s Outreach Program
Thakur emphasized that the BJP will work to reach out to every citizen and involve them in the mission to make India a developed nation by 2047. The party will organize programs at the district, block, and booth levels to raise awareness about the government’s welfare schemes and involve people in the mission.
