Additional Director General of Punjab Police has issued a letter in this regard to all the Police Commissioners and SSPs. It has been said in the letter that children come out of the sunroof on the roof of cars and make noise on the national highway, state and city, which distracts the driver and there is a fear of accident. Challans are being issued by Bengaluru Police against this.
Under this, orders have been issued to all the police commissioners and senior police captains of Punjab to instruct the employees that if any such thing comes to their notice during checking, then action should be taken against them under the Motor Vehicles Act.
