Fake birth certificate case: Investigation ordered across the state, ATS will look into the role of PFI members

Posted on July 25, 2024 By NewsTodayLive Team

After the disclosure of the fake certificate case in Raebareli, orders have been given to investigate it in the entire state. If sources in high positions are to be believed, DMs of all districts have been asked to investigate the birth certificates and submit a report. The police has also been ordered by the DGP headquarters to cooperate in the investigation. The ATS has been entrusted with the responsibility of investigating the role of PFI members in making the certificates.

Let us tell you that after a big case of making fake certificates came to light in Salon and Chhatoh blocks of Raebareli, the state government has taken it seriously. Police from both the states had reached Raebareli to investigate the case of making birth certificates of a PFI member from Kerala and a youth from Karnataka, after which the CDO conducted an investigation on the complaint of local BJP MLA Ashok Kumar Kori, and it was revealed that 20 thousand fake birth certificates were made. After which a case was also registered. After this case was linked to Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra, the ATS has been asked to investigate deeply.

Fraud going on in many districts of UP: If sources are to be believed, this kind of fraud is going on in many districts of the state. Apart from PFI, many NGOs are also suspected to be involved in this fraud. After getting fake certificates made in a very clever way, the infiltrators are sent to other states. Let us tell you that in the month of July last year, ATS had also launched a campaign to nab Bangladeshi and Rohingya citizens residing illegally, in which 74 Rohingya citizens were caught. Their number is estimated to be the highest in western UP.

ADG Law and Order Amitabh Yash , who is even making passports

In the past too, many cases of making fake documents of Bangladeshi and Rohingya citizens who infiltrated into India have come to light. That is why now it is being thoroughly investigated in all the districts.
