Mr and Miss Chandigarh Body Building Championship

12th Mr Chandigarh & Miss Chandigarh Championship held at SD College

Vikas Bist declared Mr. Chandigarh and Rajneet Kaur Miss Chandigarh

Event organized by Chandigarh Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Association

Chandigarh, Feb 23, 2023: The much-awaited 12th Mr. Chandigarh and Miss Chandigarh Championship was held at SD College here amid thunderous cheers from bodybuilding enthusiasts. Vikas Bist was adjudged Mr Chandigarh and Rajneet Kaur was declared Miss Chandigarh. In Men’s Sports Physique, Ashish Dogra was declared the winner, and in Men’s Athletic Physique, Shubham was adjudged the winner. Cash prizes and gifts were distributed to the champions.Narinder Singh Shergill, Chairman Milkfed Punjab was the chief guest. The event was organised by Chandigarh Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Association (CBPSA) under the aegis of the Indian Body Builders Federation.

Suraj Bhan Nain, Secretary General of North Zone Body Builders Association, was the Chief Judge of the Mr Chandigarh Championship. He said, “Bodybuilding is a sport that can be adopted by youth so that they remain away from distractions. The sport not only increases fitness but also develops discipline. Bodybuilding should be pursued under the guidance of an experienced trainer who has all the knowledge about the sport including diet regimens to be followed.”

Many bodybuilders from the region competed in three segments – Senior Bodybuilding, Sports Physique and Athletic Physique. The participants’ displayed their muscular bodies in both men and women categories. In fact women bodybuilders also showcased their talent on stage by flexing their muscles. The categories in which the competition was held included 50-55 kgs, 55-60 kgs, 60-65 kgs, 65-70 kgs, 70-75 kgs, 80-85 kg and above 85 Kg.

Monu Sabarwal, Amarjit Singh, Ashok Rana, Vikram Dhull, Nakul, Pardeep Nain, Rahul Preet, and Ram Nain judged the Mr Chandigarh event.
