The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially announced the Civil Services Examination (CSE) Main Result 2025 on 11 November 2025. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check their results on the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in. A total of 2,736 candidates have successfully cleared the Main Examination and are eligible to proceed to the next stage, the Personality Test (Interview). The results of three candidates have been withheld due to ongoing court cases.
How to Check and Download UPSC CSE Mains Result 2025
Follow these simple steps to access your UPSC CSE Main Result 2025:
- Visit the official UPSC website: upsc.gov.in.
- On the homepage, click on the link titled “Written Result – Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2025.”
- The result will open as a PDF file containing the roll numbers of all qualified candidates.
- Use the search function (Ctrl + F) to locate your roll number.
- Download and save the PDF for future reference.
Documents Required for the Personality Test
Candidates shortlisted for the Personality Test must bring their original documents to the interview. These include:
- Eligibility certificates
- Educational qualification documents
- Reservation category certificates (if applicable)
- Community status certificates
- Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category certificate
- Person with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) certificate
- Travel Allowance (TA) form and other relevant documents specified by UPSC
Candidates who have previously uploaded their documents online and have no updates must log in again to verify details. This verification is mandatory to generate the e-summon letter for the interview.
Important Note: UPSC will not accept any changes in the information submitted in the Online Application Form (OAF). However, candidates can request updates to their address or contact details by sending an official letter or email to csm-upsc@nic.in.
