The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially released the revised schedule for the RRB Group D Exam 2025, inviting candidates to prepare for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) for Level 1 posts under the 7th CPC Pay Matrix. Revised Exam Dates
According to the latest announcement, the CBT for RRB Group D 2025 will be conducted from November 27, 2025, to January 16, 2026. The examination will consist of 100 questions, divided as follows:
- General Science: 25 questions
- Mathematics: 25 questions
- General Intelligence & Reasoning: 30 questions
- General Awareness & Current Affairs: 20 questions
Exam City Slip & Travel Authority Release
Candidates belonging to the SC/ST category can access their Travel Authority and Exam City Slip starting November 19, 2025. Notifications via SMS and Email will be sent to applicants whose city intimation slips have been activated on their registered contact details.
Admit Card Availability
The RRB Group D admit cards will be available for download four days prior to the scheduled exam date mentioned in the city and date intimation link. Aspirants can retrieve their application registration number using their login credentials at www.rrbapply.gov.in to download the admit card.
Selection Process Overview
The recruitment process includes a single-stage Computer-Based Test (CBT). However, the Railway Administration retains the right to conduct the CBT in a single or multi-stage mode.
Candidates who clear the CBT must undergo the following stages:
