OnePlus has officially announced OxygenOS 16, its next-generation software update built on Android 16, setting a new benchmark for speed, design, and smart functionality. This update introduces an entirely new design philosophy, improved system fluidity, and advanced AI-driven innovations, with a gradual rollout beginning in November 2025.

OxygenOS 16 reimagines the OnePlus experience with sleek Gaussian blur effects and a refined “Liquid Glass” aesthetic. The translucent bottom bar now enhances multiple interface elements, including the Photos app, home screen search, app drawer, and recents menu. This design language offers a balance between modern minimalism and elegance, drawing subtle inspiration from Apple’s iOS 16 visual style.

The OxygenOS 16 update will arrive in phased batches starting November 2025:
November 2025: OnePlus 13, 13R, 13 Pro, 13 CE, OnePlus Open, OnePlus Pad 2
December 2025: OnePlus 11R 5G, 11 CE 5G, Nord CE 5G, Nord CE 5G Lite
Q1 2026: OnePlus 10 Pro 5G, 10 CE 5G, OnePlus Pad Lite
Additionally, the OnePlus 12 series, OnePlus 11 5G series, Nord 5/4/3 5G, Nord CE5/CE4, and OnePlus Pad 3, Pad 2, and Pad are also eligible. OnePlus noted that further devices could be added as rollout expands globally.

The Quick Settings panel receives a complete overhaul, offering users greater flexibility. The layout now supports drag-and-drop tile customization, while the edit and menu buttons have been repositioned to the top of the screen, allowing for more intuitive, one-handed navigation.

OxygenOS 16 seamlessly integrates AI-powered tools that elevate productivity while safeguarding user data.
