State Service Main Examination Update

The commission has announced that the State Service Main Examination 2025 will only be conducted following directions from the High Court. All other examinations are set to occur on the dates indicated, depending on prevailing conditions at the time.

Key Examination Dates

Teaching Positions:

• Assistant Professor (Computer Science) Examination 2025: Scheduled for January 4, 2026.
• Assistant Professor Examination 2026 (Higher Education Department): Conducted in three phases:
  • Phase 1: July 12, 2026
  • Phase 2: August 2, 2026
  • Phase 3: August 30, 2026

Administrative and Technical Positions:

• Deputy Director / Principal Grade-2 & Assistant Director (Technical) Examination 2025: February 22, 2026
• State Engineering Service Examination 2025: March 22, 2026

Major State-Level Exams:

• State Service & State Forest Service Preliminary Examination 2026: April 26, 2026
• State Service Main Examination 2026: September 7 to September 12, 2026
• State Forest Service Main Examination 2026: September 27, 2026
