Driven by the guiding principle, “Of the students, by the students, for the students”, this innovative postal space was conceptualized, designed, and co-created by CMS College students in partnership with India Post officials. The initiative exemplifies a harmonious integration of creativity, sustainability, and efficient service delivery.

Design and Ambience: A Nature-Inspired, Youthful Hub

The Gen Z Post Office counter stands out as a vibrant, nature-infused environment that seamlessly merges indoor and outdoor elements. Beyond traditional postal functions, it doubles as a work café, green corner, and community hub, reflecting CMS College’s commitment to eco-conscious design and student engagement.

1. Nature-Themed Seating Zone

Featuring picnic-style seating and a vertical garden, this area offers a calming and refreshing atmosphere. Additional seating crafted from refurbished tires highlights the students’ dedication to sustainability and eco-friendly practices.

The counter ledge is thoughtfully equipped with charging points for laptops and mobile devices, making it ideal for students and young professionals who need a productive environment.

3. Recreation and Relaxation Corner

Visitors can unwind in a cozy reading nook or enjoy books and board games, fostering relaxation and informal learning.

4. Enhanced Service Accessibility

The fully equipped MPCM booking counter, complete with packaging materials and a MyStamp printer, ensures that postal services remain easily accessible while embracing modern technology.
