Fatehabad is facing power crisis due to wrong policies of the government – Punia

Posted on July 31, 2024July 31, 2024 By NewsTodayLive Team

Bhuna: Congress National Secretary Dr. Vineet Punia has targeted the BJP government over the power crisis in Fatehabad district and blamed the government’s wrong policies for this. He said that the people will answer the BJP government, which does not even provide electricity and water to the people, with their votes in the upcoming assembly elections.

Addressing a street meeting in Chandan Nagar of Bhuna, Dr. Vineet Punia said that the people of Fatehabad district are troubled by unannounced power cuts in the scorching heat. For the last two days, complaints of long unannounced power cuts were received from many villages and wards of Fatehabad including Matana, Baropal, Kharakhedi, Kumhariya, Dhani Gopal, Mehuwala. Sometimes there is power cut for several hours in the name of fault and sometimes in the name of short circuit. People living in the outskirts of Fatehabad-Bhuna cities and the dhanis of villages are especially suffering from low voltage electricity. Everyone is in a bad condition due to long power cuts. All the claims of the district administration and the state government are failing.

Dr. Vineet Punia said that the BJP government of the state is claiming that it has sufficient electricity. On the other hand, the power crisis has deepened in the state, there are unannounced power cuts throughout the night, the elderly and children are most troubled by the heat.

Dr. Vineet Punia said that the terrible condition of electricity clearly shows that the BJP government has not done anything in this area for the last ten years. All the electricity wires are in a dilapidated condition, complaints of low supply and voltage are received from all areas every day. Until cables and transformers of appropriate capacity are not installed in full numbers, these problems will remain the same.

Dr Punia said that if the government is not able to provide electricity and water, then it has no right to stay in power. The government should stop rhetoric and focus on arranging the basic needs of the people, especially electricity and water.

Dr. Puniya said that the district administration should solve this problem which occurs every day, otherwise the people of the area will be forced to protest.

During this time, Bhagatram, Dharampal Prakash MC, Karmaveer, Baldev, Gurudev Baldev, Ballu, Satpal Advocate, Premchand, Dhoop Singh, Ramesh, Honey Mehta, Rampyari, Chandni, Geeta, Asha Rani, Mamta, Santosh, Dhanpati along with Master Subhash Dhania, Rajesh Khileri, Krishna Garhwal, Sunil Vishnoi, Sushil Godara, Deepak Vishnoi, Prateek Kumar, Rajkumar Insa, Ajay Dangi, Ballu Yadav were also present.
