Chandigarh Lawn Tennis Association is organizing CLTA-AITA National Ranking Tennis Championship for Men & Women

CLTA, Chandigarh, Tuesday, February 18, 2025                      

Chandigarh Lawn Tennis Association is organizing CLTA-AITA National Ranking Tennis Championship for Men & Women (Rs.1 Lakh prize money each) from 17th to 21st February, 2025 sponsored by HPCL-Mittal Energy Limited.

Dalwinder Singh and Moksh Puri moved into Quarterfinals of the Men’s singles. 4th seed Dalwinder Singh (PB) outplayed Lokesh Pun (HR) 6-2, 6-2 in straight sets. Dalwinder played in a top form and dominant throughout the match. 3rd seed Moksh Puri (DL) defeated Svarmanyu Singh (MH) 6-0, 7-5. Jatin Nain (HR) upset 5th seed Vansh Nandal (HR) 6-3, 6-4 in straight sets. 2nd seed Sarthak Sudan (DL), 8th seed Mukul Ramanan (TN) and Omar Rehan Sumar (MH) also advanced into Quarterfinals.

In the Women’s singles Vidula Amar (KA) and Jasmine Rawat (HR) advanced into Quarterfinals. 4th seed Vidula Amar (KA) defeated Himanshika Singh (CH) 6-4, 6-2 in straight sets. In the another match Jasmine Rawat (HR) overpowered Anjali Dalal (HR) 6-3, 6-1. 2nd seed Rutuparna Choudhary (OD), Qualifier Jaya Kapoor (UK) and Saily Prashantkumar Thakkar (GJ) also advanced into singles Quarterfinals.

            Doubles matches are in progress.

The Quarterfinal round matches of Men & Women singles & doubles events will be played on Wednesday, the 19th February, 2025 in CLTA Tennis Stadium, Sector 10, Chandigarh at 9:00 A.M. onwards.
