The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has officially released the admit card for the Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination 2025. Candidates who have successfully submitted their applications can now download their e-admit cards from the official website, jkpsc.nic.in. The preliminary examination will be conducted in two sessions, and all candidates must carry their admit cards along with valid identification to the examination center.
Examination Schedule
The JKPSC Combined Competitive Preliminary Examination 2025 is scheduled for December 7, 2025. The examination will be held in two sessions:
- Forenoon Session: 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon
- Afternoon Session: 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Candidates are advised to reach the examination center well in advance to complete security checks and other formalities.
Instructions for Candidates
All candidates appearing for the examination must follow these instructions carefully:
- Carry a valid proof of identity, such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Driving Licence, or Passport, along with the admit card.
- Entry to the examination hall will close 30 minutes before the session starts.
- Candidates should be seated at least 20 minutes prior to the examination start time.
- Prohibited items include mobile phones, smart watches, calculators, headphones, Bluetooth devices, or any unauthorized material. Possession of such items may lead to disqualification.
Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme
The preliminary examination comprises two papers:
- General Studies-I
- General Studies-II
Each paper carries 200 marks and consists of 100 multiple-choice questions. Each question has four options: A, B, C, and D. Candidates must use a blue or black ballpoint pen to mark the correct option on the OMR response sheet.
Negative Marking:
- 1/3 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
- Blank answers will not incur any penalty.
How to Download the JKPSC Admit Card 2025
Follow these steps to download your e-admit card:
- Visit the official website jkpsc.nic.in and log in using your User ID and password.
- Navigate to the “Admit Card” section on your dashboard.
- Click on “Get Admit Card” to view your e-admit card.
- Verify all personal details and examination information for accuracy.
- Download and print the admit card to carry on the examination day.
Candidates facing difficulty in downloading the admit card should contact the Commission before December 3, 2025, providing proof of application submission. JKPSC emphasizes keeping the admit card safe, as any misuse by others will be the candidate’s responsibility.
