Tech fest “Technovation” organized at PGGC, Sec. 46

21st April, 2022: Chandigarh : The Department of Bachelors of Computer Applications of Post Graduate Government College- 46, Chandigarh organized a fest “Technovation”. Dr. Abha Sudarshan, Principal of the college inaugurated the fest and welcomed the guest of honour, Ms. Arpana, director of Infomaths. Dr. Sudarshan congratulated  the participants and emphasized the need of such events for the overall development of the students especially in the post pandemic time so that they can adapt to the new normal. Ms. Arpana motivated the students to be a part of such innovative events regularly along with their curricular activities to enhance their co -curricular skills and to showcase their hidden talents. More than 80 students participated enthusiastically in the events like Website Development, Logo and E-Collage making, Face Painting and Rangoli. The participants participated in the events with great zeal and vigor.  In the end the winners were given away prizes and certificates by the Principal.  Dr. Simmi Arora, Vice-principal of the college also graced the occasion. The fest was successfully organized under the able guidance and mentorship of Dr. Uma Narang head, Department of BCA, and faculty of the Department, Ms. Shefali Aggarwal, Ms. Vandana and Mr. Hemant. Earlier, in the day Department of Public Administration celebrated Civil Services Day, an occasion for the civil servants to rededicate themselves to the cause of serving citizens and renew their commitments to public service and excellence in work. Dr Meenakshi Madaan Incharge of the department conducted the event.
