Pak Prez Zardari got Threatening Call blames Pranab

7th December 2008: Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari says after Mumbai Terror attacks he has received a threatening call by Pranab Mukherjee. And, which bounds Pakistan to tighten security and plan further for a situation of war. Whereas, Pranab rules out any such call and added that if Pakistan gives credibility to such 'Hoax' call then its the cause of worry. He said that Pakistan should think the way an official call to President of some country is being made. The method of call is unusual. He says that it could lead to serious aftereffects.

Mukherjee added that he had spoken with President Zardari during his visit to Islamabad in May. The report of his call to Prez is misleading and controversial. He said that it can diver the international attention to some other corner, whereas the main agenda is terrorism by Pakistan. This is another propaganda by Pakistan to divert global attention from Pakistan to the situation of war. Which is a very serious matter.

Pranab Mukherjee said that he never knew about such call until he got the message from his friends. His friends only told him that such an incidence has had happened, which again he clarified to his friends. "Clarification has been provided to Pakistani counterparts that no such call has been made to President Zardari" Pranab said in his statement.

Pranab also showed worry to the Pakistan's action on the call. He added that its really worrying that a neighbouring country can act in such a way to a 'hoax' call.
