7th December 2008: US Senator John McCain today
warns Pakistan of dire consequences if it doesnt support India
against terrorism. In a statement, USA has given ultimatum to
Pakistan for next 48 hours to take action against terrorists
in Pakistan. Its also said that Pakistan Government has been
asked to take Lashkar terrorists under arrest within next 48
hours, who are responsible for terrorists attack in India.
McCain, threatened Pakistan of strict action against them if there is no action
taken in clean up act. He said there will be an Air strike against Pakistan by
India if there is no response to the warning. And, if India doesnt do that US
will surely do it.
This could be a reaction to Ray Kelly's (Police official with New York Police)
statement of terror attack possibility at New York. He said in his statement
that there can be a similar attack to New York as New York is the financial capital
of US as Mumbai is. So, he also said that there are lot of similarities between
the two cities, which makes a possibility that NY is terrorists' next target.
